Babushka is a Russian nesting doll. Usually hand-painted. The bigger size doll keeps the smaller size doll and smaller, and smaller and smaller. Do you have one of those? I got several sets from my grandma :D Such a cutie.

I went for a meeting at the heart of Kuala Lumpur city yesterday. So early in the morning, I saw people rushing to their office.They walked so fast, so serious, clutching their bag or briefcase, newspaper, coffee, smart phones. They wore suits, they also wore a face like they had planned everything for the whole day. 

I love watching that. I love the fact that many people are so busy, looking so sure of life and at the corner, I can enjoy that view. It feels so different. 

The city gives a different aura.

I love feeling like a tourist in a busy city.

Shin.Shin!

I received a postcard from Makiko Hasting !
It's Shin Shin's one year anniversary and as one of her follower,
I requested a giveaway postcard from her :)

Her 1000 birds projects to help Japan was an inspiration to me.
I was born in Japan and yes it did gave me some impact when the earthquake hit Japan.
But I never thought I can do much help to them.
But she helped Japan by putting herself in her personal little project,
and yes, it has opened my eyes since then.

Last.Sunday.

There was a lot of activities yesterday! 

• I met a former UPM's professor for my future career/education path counseling which ended just nice considering I was worried sick from the day before thinking about what should I say about my plans.
• I went to Arts for Grab at Central Market. It was not as hectic as last Creative Market Pipit's event and there was so many indie-book stalls (which personally, I don't favor - I read 2 books before, and I detested them, no offense )
• I went to Chow Kit Road, and I just found out that Chow Kit Road and Petaling Street are two very very different neighborhoods. After 21 years in Malaysia, I found out about that yesterday. How fun. 
• I went to Bentley Auditorium for David Choi's performance.

I never thought I will let myself to go to any concert. 

But there you go, once I found out that he is coming to Malaysia,

I bought 2 tickets for both my sister and I 

and it was quite shocking.

I saw him live after months of youtube videos :D

I love to draw on woods.

That's my current addiction.

I like the idea of using sand paper to smoothen the surface

and paint some layers and then start to draw.

Oh yes, 

been wanting to say this.

I sold several girls on wood as key-chain on youth day. 

At first I meant it to be mini paintings rather than key-chains.

I know they won't stand being handled rough

as a key-chain.

I'm pretty worried (>.<)

Although it has been sprayed & coated,

still, woods are woods.

Need to handle them with extra care & love.
