Doodle : The Machine

December 30, 2012

*

Hello !

I was asked by a client to draw on wooden mirror based on my previous star & cloud machine to be given to her friend as a birthday present. It's been awhile, I enjoyed making this ! :D It reminded me of the time when I accepted a lot of commission works.

I hardly accept commission works since I got a little busy with other things in my life. I also cancelled several orders and I am so sorry for that T^T

The Machine
on 10 x 10 inch wooden mirror.

I really hope she likes it !

PS : Mom asked how I draw without any sketches and using ruler?
I said I got these awesome hand from my Creator,
He gave me those inspirations and lines.

Event : Pipit

November 12, 2012

*

It was a busy day. My 4th Pipit day last Saturday held at Annexe Gallery, Central Market. My sister and I rented a space and opened a small booth. I sold stickers and my sister sold phone straps and keychains.

I've been busy for the past month to be ready for the day. I've been heavily sick and I am still recovering from my sickness. My MBP died on the night I needed to do last minute prints but I stick to plan B- which was bring anything I already have. I kept my cool and tried to forget the meaning of stress & panic. I put aside my worry thoughts, I said to myself "Let's just do the best of tomorrow and we'll think about problems afterwards".

*

It was a productive day and I had fun.
I met so many people, for that, I thank all of YOU, for your supports. It was over-whelming. I can't thank you enough. My final event for this year is wrapped with good memories.

I met Pupurin , Oh & Ah's , Evangelione's Handmade , Mike the Pipiteer , Namizam , to name a few. I also met several silent readers from here. It was such a nice moments. I remember meeting this nice little girl, called Mahfuzah - she was so sweet, I feel like hugging her ! I met merahitujambu, a blogger - of course I know you ! Also Qiqien , you've been buying my things, so I remember you too - thanks for the support. I'll check the artwork I promised to send later :) And plus Adora and maybe all other people who stopped by and greeted me, I forgot your names but it was so nice of you to come and talked to me ! T^T I feel loved and appreciated. And my colleagues and friends and my brother ! Can I even thank you enough?

I slept that night with a smile plastered on my face.

Doodle : Free Sketches

August 07, 2012

Hello, it's August!

I'm doing another gift-away, I think its the third one this year. I got a bunch of sketches to be shared with my dear readers/follower. These sketches are mainly from random short sketching moment that I could find : meeting, talk, and such , theme : girl. It's getting more than I needed after awhile. Roughly it came from scrap papers, notebook & sketch book pages etc, *if you don't mind.

*

I am also doing a research on the influence of social media. Mainly work-related and personal interest of mine, being a geek that I am. So I am inviting you to participate with me in this experience : on how big the power of social media can be.

What you can do to help is by sharing this post and the facebook & twitter post *which I'll later post in awhile, about this give-away. There will be 10 sketches to be given away, so a lot of chances for you.

1. Click on the sharing button : Google+ , Facebook , Twitter , Blogger : there are sharing button below this post.
2. Inform me by mentioning it in the comment box below. Just tell me in which social media network/s you used to share this post / facebook post.

Easy enough? Sketches to be won :

DIY : Doodle on Wooden Frame

August 04, 2012

*

Hello!

As you might remember, I used to be known as the frame doodler! Months and months ago before I decided to stop making one :D I'm going to share with you my techniques :

*

Tutorial on Doodle Frame
by azreenchan

*

Things needed :

Sand Paper
Artlines
Brush
Acrylic
Clear Spray

Acrylic :
I mostly use Fairbro for arcrylic colour.
My favorite is Apple Barrel from Plaid.

Artline :
I love to use my famous Faber Castell Size S & M.

*

1. Use sand paper to smoothen the surface.
It will make it easier for you to doodle later.

You will be needed to put several layers of acrylic paint,
depends on the brand itself.

 *

2. Doodle time!
There is no secret in doodling, just start!

*

3. Clear spray
Spray several layer of clear acrylic.
Do it outside of your house.

*

4. Ready!

*

Thanks!
